Troubleshooting steps when the sensor does not connect at all to the CORE app.
Step 1: confirm that the sensor is charged by shaking the sensor and observing the blinking LED.
Step 2: If the LED's don't blink when you shake the sensor, try charging it. For the CORE 1 sensor, the LED will blink until it is fully charged. If the battery has been fully discharged, it might need 10-15minutes to “wake up” and start blinking. If even after a longer charging the CORE has not charged, check visually if the cable and CORE look fine. On rare occasions there are issues with charge.
For the CORE 2 Sensor, a red LED will indicate the sensor is receiving a current and is charging. Upon initially connecting the sensor to the charging cable, a green LED will flash intermittenly. The red LED will switch off when fully charged.
Note: The CORE Body Temperature Monitoring device uses a very small amount of power for charging and some Power Banks and Power Pods will not work for recharging as they are not 'woken up' or don't remain active when CORE is connected. This is a common amount of low-powered rechargeable devices. To resolve, please connect the CORE with recharging cable to a computer or a power USB charging source to ensure it can be correctly charged.
Step 3: Switch your phone's Bluetooth off and on.
Step 4: Try resetting the CORE using the magnetic end of the charging cable. Rub it over the Bluetooth logo on the rear of the sensor. Read here how to reboot your CORE sensor.
